"I don't think I have seen anything so beautiful. I was brought forward to the Bridge of the Scout ship I am on, and given a good look at the magnificent solar flares from this system's main star."

"I've been in space for ten days. This was my first Jump. It took about seven days, with three days cruising into the system from an outer orbit. I hope I never get tired of Jump, or start to think of it as routine, everyday, or humdrum."
