Muses to self...Guess others are sleeping in at this hour...lucky them...unfortunately this is my waking hour as a marine so I have no choice. Thought I had a good discussion with the Provosts last night at dinner....Think I will relax a bit now for rest of Jump and focus on my leadership studies.
The Aslan sleep cycle is rather different than the hisloi, different circadian rhythm and whatnot. What's more, the dietary cycle is also quite different just one large meal and light snacking otherwise. Khearl will concentrate on his martial arts exercises in his stateroom for the remainder of the Jump. He'll pop out a couple times a day to stay social, but is concerned that he may have said too much to the hisloi envoys. Although why they would be worried about the obvious truth is beyond him... Nevertheless, Khearl understands that he is beyond the protection of his clan and that, embarrassingly enough, he knows less about dueling than an Aslan male on his own should. Besides, the exercise will serve to keep his ao balanced and stress-free.
