Sir Lt Gopal Sultana & Athena Solis meet on way to Marduk

Suraksha incoming to Fist Planetary Control. Type UMB-3 Ship's Boat, Sir Lt Sultana commanding. Please arrange landing bay, and a list of ships posting to Marduk.

Suraksha, you have permission to land at highport landing port 2Alpha34 Sir. We have a waiting list for the downport today Sir. I will have a greeter meet you at your landing port. Please tune to channel Bravo 29 for a listing of ships heading out of the Imperium. Station Out

Highport landing port 2Alpha34, acknowledged. And have the greeter bring a list of the better local dining establishments. I'm tired of my own cooking. Suraksha out.

Suraksha to Pioneer. It appears you're heading to Marduk. If you have the capacity, what is your schedule, and terms for carrying me along? Ship type is UMB-3 Ship's Boat, 30 ton, standard docking interface, Sir Lt Sultana commanding.

Sir Lt Sultana, welcome to Fist highport. You requested better dining, I took the liberty of arranging refreshments for you at Bisto Carte Blanc. We have an agreement with them for passenger overlays such as your self. The costs will be added to your berthing fee. I see you departed the Far Trader Yolin when you arrived, you are not carrying any cargo for them are you?

Pioneer to Suraksha. Can you pilot a ship, Lieutenant? My current bumbling idiot of a pilot has contaminated one experiment too many. Departure in a few days after restock. Must be agreeable to decontamination procedures. I don't care what kind of leather your shoes are made of or how harsh the process is compared to most ship. I will not let another set of unhygienic feet ruin my data. Pioneer out.

Highport, acknowledged. Give the Bistro my time of arrival as 1 hour after landing procedures and paperwork are complete, so I can make myself presentable. I have a mail package and two minor cargo boxes from the Yolin, none marked urgent.

Suraksha to Pioneer: I hold an Imperium Pilot's License, Pioneer. I'm not a very enthusiastic lab worker, so unless I'm given a tour, I'm happy to keep my boots out of your workspace. Do I need to obtain a few sets of disposable shoes before departure, just in case? Or would a suit of hazmat gear be appropriate?

Pioneer to Suraksha: Decontamination is non-negotiable. Hazmat gear is only required for part of the ship of which you will not have access. Disposable shoes if you request and earn a tour beyond what a pilot requires. You are otherwise welcome aboard.

Suraksha to Pioneer: Acknowledged. Attached are the standard contracts for shipping and piloting, with fees waived in lieu of mutual services. Also copies of my Piloting License and registration for your records. Would you care to finalize arrangements over lunch tomorrow, or shall I just meet you at your ship prior to departure?

Pioneer to Suraksha: Perhaps it would be prudent to guarantee compliance by meeting before you dock. This cell line should stabilize to an acceptable range by lunchtime tomorrow. Send coordinates and time at your earliest convenience.

Suraksha to Pioneer: The Bisto Carte Blanc is adequate. The customers they obtain by paying the Port Authority to funnel passengers there would not return for inferior food. I ate there for supper this evening, I expect to have an inflated bill added to my docking fees before I leave. Shall we say at noon, local port time? I will have them reserve a table for us with a planetside view. It will give me something to focus on aside from the wine.

Pioneer to Suraksha: I'll see you then, Lieutenant. Pioneer out.

I'm not actually in this scene, but I'm sending a message to show the formatting. Reverie out.

I finally found a reputable arms dealer, and he had everything I could want. Mostly, decent small arms, and non-lethal ammunition. The establishment also carried a few stunners in non-traditional forms that would serve me well on planets that didn't like people walking around with weapons. A nice automatic version of a 10mm Snub Pistol, made by MacKenzie Small Arms, with a 15 round magazine. The dealer would even custom paint the spare mags. A slightly unusual request, for the store, I wanted the mags to be unmistakable, as I would have them pre-loaded with lethal rounds in two of the mags, which I wanted colored red, and Tranq rounds in two mags, which I wanted colored white. They even threw in a cleaning/repair kit, and a used metal ammo box, that would hold the boxes of extra ammo. 500 rounds, each, of ball and Tranq. That should last me quite a while.
