It is a Non-Aligned world dominated by human sophonts located in the Tlaiowaha Subsector of Trojan Reach Sector. Drinax has a colony at Asim.

Notes discovered after a full day of visiting the Floating Palace
Overview Location: The palace floats above the ruined surface of Drinax on a huge gravity platform.
Population: Approximately 40,000 people live on the palace.
Working Population: Around 24,000 of these inhabitants are part of the working population.
Agriculture: About 4,000 people are involved in labor-intensive agricultural work.
Maintenance: 4,000 people are dedicated to maintaining the palace and ensuring it stays afloat.
Education: 1,000 people are involved in education, childcare, and professional training.
Structure and Facilities Grand Chambers and Halls: The palace boasts vast, opulent chambers and halls designed to awe and inspire.
Residential Areas: There are numerous residential areas to accommodate the inhabitants.
Docking Bays: The palace has docking bays for ships and other space-faring vessels.
Gardens: Beautiful gardens add a touch of nature to the otherwise high-tech environment.

1104-364: Thoughts run through Mikhel's head: OK. King 'Oaf' may be a buffoon. But, the Aslan did a number on these people. The Aslan didn't cut the head off the snake. They cut the body off. There was no honour in this. How badly did the Drinaxians piss off the Aslan, that honourable warriors did this? Where is khoafteirleao in any of this? This planet was stomped into ruin. No Aslan would want this planet now, and they did this to send a message. "We don't respect you, we don't need to treat you with honour, and we don't even want your land." What did Drinax do? Mikhel considers the vacuum of his knowledge concerning the Aslan, and sees the need for information. Lots of it.
1104-365: Drinax is not operating like Imperial SOP. Do they not have the capability? Or, are their priorities different? And my info fishing trip was thwarted by a savy senior officer. So, not due to incompetence, entirely, one can surmise. Let's see if the Tower tour is more enlightening.
OOC from Crockett Different thoughts run through Crockett's head: OK. This moment has finally arrived. First Marduk. Then some fun looking around on Torpol but taking time. And now (shall we say) an "Opportunity" is about to present itself. Will it be as billed? OR will it be a huge disappointment and just now what this group of misfits is looking for? I suspect the latter so I'm sticking close to the "old Doc" here. I sort of like going off to this asteroid area and doing some set up of a mining operation if possible....but on the other hand...if all else fails...I'm guite happy to return to Torpol with these two Provosts and hang with them for awhile doing some trade missions as security escort....we shall indeed see what this NEW YEAR holds in stock for us all.
